This is the result of the work carried for over 25 years at Domaine Eric Rodez. The Lieux Dits range highlights individual expression and combination between soil and grapes. The role of the winemaker is limited to respect the musical integrity of the terroir. Genettes is the power and graceful version which complement very well the subtle and long Beurys. It comes from a vineyard that enjoys South-South East exposure has a relatively deep topsoil before the roots can penetrate the chalky soil of Ambonnay.  This 100% Pinot Noir is remarkably elegant and full white champagne tasting of luxurious creamy and hazelnut mousse and a long saline finish. This is quite simply a show stopper and one to make people talk.
